A Celebration of Life for Lillie Mae Foley Wyatt

Obituary

Lillie Mae Foley Wyatt has transitioned from her earthly house to be home with the Lord in Heaven on March 13, 2023. Lillie
Mae was born December 12, 1929, in Benchley, Texas, to Edward
Foley, Sr. and Susie Cashaw Foley. Lillie Mae had an unconditional
love for her family and friends. She was a devoted loving and caring
mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and a wonderful friend. Lillie
Mae was a proud graduate of John M. Moore High School. In the
early 1980’s, she met and married the love of her life Mr. Charlie
Wyatt. She dedicated her life to serving the Brazos Valley and
surrounding areas as a Bus Driver for Brazos Transit, where she
was employed for over 40 years before retiring. After retiring, Brazos
Transit honored Lillie Mae Foley Wyatt by renaming the Transit
Building the Lillie Mae Wyatt Center. Lillie Mae was a faithful
servant and a proud member of United Full Gospel Baptist Church
under the Leadership of Bishop J.C. Ebbs. After she could no longer
attend church services in person, Bishop J.C. Ebbs visited Lillie
Mae every Sunday, sharing the gospel and remembering good times.
Lillie Mae loved spending time with family and friends. Yearly,
she would attend the family reunion, sharing love, laughter, and
ever lasting memories.
Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie
Wyatt; her parents, Edward and Susie Foley; two sons, JD Woods,
Jr. and James Foley; brothers, Edward Foley, Melvin Foley, and FL
Foley; and sister, Helentine “Jack” Nelson Foley. She leaves behind
to cherish loving memories her two sons, Curtis Edward Foley and
Earl Ray Woods (Marcie); Seven grandchildren, Ron ‘’Bubba”
Rucker, Curtesha Foley, Darryl Foley, Sr. (Regina), Robert Earl
Debose, LaToya Woods, Tausha Hardamen, Kody Williams; along
with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and
special friends. She also leaves to cherish her memories her two
special nieces, Helen Jewel Foley and Karen Nelson Portis (Charles);
and one special nephew, Michael Nelson.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 18, 2023 11:00A.M. at United Full Gospel Baptist Church 1600 W Martin Luther King Jr., Street, Bryan, Texas 77803

Visitation Services will be held on Friday March 17, 2023 from 11:00A.M. until 7:00P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803
