Mrs. Henrietta Adkins Wyatt
Sunrise: February 22, 1937
Henrietta (Adkins) Wyatt was born on February 22, 1937 in Madison County to Sam and Erma Adkins.
She attended school in Madison County. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of United Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas under the leadership of Reverend U. L. Green and Reverend Harrison until her health failed. She will be remembered for her devotion to ushering as a member of United Baptist Church, babysitting her great nieces and nephews (and others) and playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Adkins and Erma (Adkins) Williams; siblings: Mary Rhodes, Frank Adkins, Nathaniel Adkins,
Elizabeth Gilbert and Billie “June” Pace; and grandson, Jamaun Thompson.
She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Lena Mae Sumlin (Ivory) of La Marque, Texas; two grandchildren, Tasha Thompson of College Station, Texas and Donald “Dee” Thompson (Sonya) of Tomball, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Keia White of Fort Worth, Texas, Reginald Robinson of Tomball, Texas, Janiah Shepard of College Station, Texas, Jamaun “Tray” Thompson of Bryan, Texas and Mia Thompson of College Station, Texas; two sisters, Ella Ross of Madisonville, Texas and Beatrice Thomas of Bryan, Texas; three special great nephews,
Andrae Green, Christopher Johnson Jr. and Cameron Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday October 30, 2020 from 1pm to 6 on in the chapel of Daniel and Son Funeral Home, 401 W. 18th St., Bryan, Tx 77803
Graveside Service will be held Saturday October 31, 2020 at 2:30pm at Bryan City Cemetery 1109 N. Texas Ave Bryan, Tx 77803.
