James was a dear friend. Our friendship began when he was a principal. I had the honor of working with him UIN the Human Resources.

He was a wonderful educator. He was loved by so many. His endearing smile was always there each and every day.

He loved his family. He enjoyed working with his cattle. One of my favorite memories was when we were coming back from a meeting Ian’s he saw a sign “Hereford bulls for sale “. He and I walked through the pasture with him in his suit and me in my high heels.

Such a wonderful man. I loved him dearly.
We are out of town or we would be at his services.

    God Bless.

I had the privilege to have had this wonderful man as a teacher in 1969. The legacy he leaves from then through his many years of teaching is the innumerable young minds he molded for the greater good. Mr. Rose garnered respect in the classroom always and the youth always respected him and one another. I pray for his family to be comforted by our Lord and Savior and cherish your many memories as you also know Mr. Rose will always be held in the highest esteem by his students.

Mr. Rose was my teacher in 1969 in Caldwell, and I still remember him today as a man of great mathematical knowledge. He endowed his students with a desire to learn, to be better individuals and he taught us respect. Mr. Rose garnered that respect by living it each day in the classroom and in his life with others. He leaves a great legacy of students who have traveled the world being the kind of individuals that make a difference. May God bring peace and comfort to his loving family and may they know Mr. Rose left the world a much better place and most certainly made an impact.

Mr. Rose was one of the finest Math teacher any one student could ask for. He taught my brother and sisters and myself at Caldwell ISD. He was so smart, and tried very hard to help those that could not grasp the hard new math. He was kind, always well dressed and very professional. I worked at TAMU and enjoyed walking and visiting with him from the long parking lot walk to our places of work on campus. He touched a lot of lives in Caldwell Texas and I know a lot in Bryan, and College Station. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss of a great, good man. God Bless.
