Homegoing Service for Cornelius Moore, Sr.

Obituary

On January 14, 2024 our Heavenly
Father walked in his garden and
picked one of His very own
flowers. He took our beloved
brother, cousin, uncle, father and
friend.

Cornelius Moore, affectionately known as “Bunk”
accepted Christ at an early age at New Zion Baptist
Church of Mumford, Texas, under the leadership of
Reverend Milton Jones.
Cornelius loved to joke tell jokes, talk (very loud),
and loved being around everyone to make them
smile.
Cornelius is preceded in death by his parents,
George Moore, Sr. and Fannie B. Grisby Moore;
brother, James Moore, Sr. and nephew, Peter Moore.
Cornelius is survived by four brothers, Elder George
Moore, Jr., Charles Moore, Larry Moore and
Waymond Moore all of Bryan, Texas; six sisters,
Emma White (Joe) of Dallas, Texas, Mae Helen Moore
Hall (Ricarlos), Carrie Jean Moore and Lillie Mae
Davis all of Bryan, Texas, Lenora Moore and Annie
B. Williams of College Station, Texas; special friend,
Samantha Mahon; daughter, Kandance Moore; and a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
