Obituary

BOBBIE FAYE JOHNSON was born November 4, 1948 to Irene Cook and Peter Walter McConley. She attended school and graduated in Ft. Work TX. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked at several jobs and retired from Brenham State School in 2010. BOBBIE FAYE confessed a belief in Christ at an early age and was a member of Seven Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Emerson Ayers. She loved going to church and attending Bible Study. Seven Star had a special place in her heart. She worked with foster children and enjoyed doing puzzles. She also loved helping people in the community. She departed this life on September 1, 2021, and was welcomed home by her mother, father and brother, Adrian Cook. BOBBIE FAYE leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted husband of 30 years, Wade Johnson; 2 sons Johnny Bowman, Jr. (Rachel Bowman) of Bryan Texas and Walter McConley of Caldwell Texas; 2 daughters Ira Bowman of College Station, Texas and Thelma Stewart (Michael Leavell) of Bryan, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Vincent Thomas Jr., Isaiah Washington, Makayla Leavell; 2 great-grandchildren, Azaria Thomas and Treylon Williams; 2 brothers, Eddie Dean McConley (Luv) and Wayne McConley all of Corpus Christi, Texas; 2 aunts, Eddie Waters of Caldwell, Texas and Odessa Livingston of Ft. Worth, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
