Ira Joe Sterling Better Known As “Junior”, Was
Born On May 6, 1945 To Nellie B. Nelson & Ira J. Sterling Sr in Bryan, Texas. Ira Joe Sterling Attended Kemp Carver and At A Young
Age United With Fairview Baptist Church. He Later
Relocated To Corpus Christi, Texas With His Family
Where He Became A Skilled Laborer. Ira Joe Sterling, Loved Life and Spending Time With His
Family and Hanging Out With His Friends. In His Latter
Years, He Relocated Back To Bryan Texas Where He
Resided Until His Health Started To Decline and He Then
Resided At Golden Creek Nursing Facility In Navasota,
Texas. Ira J. Sterling Was A Very Lively Person and
He Will Indeed Leave Behind Some
Great Times and Memories. Proceeding Him In Death Is His Grandparents; Ella and
Peter Nelson; His Parents Nellie B
Nelson Wright and Ira J. Sterling, and One Daughter, Diane Sterling. He Leaves Behind To Cherish His Memory
His Daughters: Jaqueline Roxanne Atunda (Houston,
Texas); Shelia Renette McFarland (Katy, Tx); A
Brother, Robert Wright Sr (Wife); Nephew Robert Wright
Jr.; Aunt: Sally Davis; 8 Grand Children; 8
Great Grand Children; Cousin Like Sister: Joann
McCoy, and A Host Of Cousins, Other Relatives, and Special Friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 11:00A.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803

Visitation Services will be held on Monday, February 27th, 2023 from 11:00A.M. until 6:00P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803
