Glenda Pearl McGill Manley

Glenda Pearl McGill Manley was born February 21, 1938 to Prince and Ida Mae McGill in Midway, Texas.

Glenda accepted Christ at an early age and was a lifelong member at Lee Chapel United Methodist Church, where she
worked as a Lay speaker and member of the United Methodist Women.

Glenda attended Washington Elementary in Bryan, Texas and later graduated from Lincoln High School in College Station, Texas. She later attended college at Pruitt
Business College in Los Angeles, California where she studied business. During her time at college she worked as an tutor. Glenda later return to Bryan to care for her ill father and attended McKinney Business School.

Glenda worked at George Riley Insurance company for many years as the Office Manager. She later worked at GTE as a mail carrier. She went on to work at St. Joseph
Hospital as a nurse Assistant for many years. She moved on to do private healthcare for families in their homes.

Mommie was a devoted mother. She had many interests and hobbies, which includes seamstress, cook, organist,
painter, and gardener. She donated many hours to charity and loved helping others in the community.

Preceding her in death by her parents Prince and Ida Mae McGill, sister- Gloria Williams, brother-Sylvester McGill,
daughter- Stephanay Manley, grandsons- Kristian and Ziikeron McGill, and granddaughters- LaShauron McGill
and La’Nique Dolphus.

She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Gladys Smith of Los Angeles, Cal., six daughters- Glenda Pratt (Dona Ray) of College Station, TX, Robyn Nutall (Cliff)
of Bryan, TX, Deondraye Jarmon of Austin, TX, D’Angelia McGill of Bryan. TX, MonaLisa Chambers of Houston, TX, Stephaneye DuBose of Austin, TX, and La’Richer Parks (William) of Elgin, TX. One son- Randy Manley of Bryan, TX. and a host of grandkids, great grandkids, great
great grandkids, nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will held Friday August 7, 2020 from 3pm to 6pm in the chapel of Daniel and Son Funeral Home 401 W. 18th, Bryan, Tx 77803.

Private service will be held at 11am on Saturday August 8, 2020 at Daniel and Son Funeral Home.

Interment will follow immediately after services at Clayton Cemetery in College Station, Texas.
