Betty Jo Everline was born on October 22, 1949, in Caldwell, Texas, to Bessie Mae Thompson and Alonzo Munson. Betty Jo graduated from Jones High School in Snook, Texas. At an early
age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of Old Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Betty Jo enjoyed spending time with family, dancing, and talking. She was known for her love of family and the joy she shared with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Freddie Lee Everline, Sr.; and her sisters, Jame Anna Boylan and Lillie B. Bryant. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Freddie Lee Everline, Jr.; brother, Lavon Thompson (Edna); sisters, Katye Braziel of Cameron, Texas, Barbara Cooper of Rawlins, Wyoming, Marie Williams of Caldwell, Texas, Daisy Wilborn and Everlyn Thompson, both of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Carnell Calloway, Bresha Calloway, and Bre’Uanna Shelton; great-grandchild, Indigo Calloway; and special friends, Eula
Douglas, Queen Amos, and Calvin Simpson.
