On August 15th, 1953, a beautiful baby girl was born to Eartha and Johnny Seyfus. She attended Bryan ISD and graduated from E.A. Kemp High School. She united with Mount Vernon Baptist Church of Bryan, Texas at an early age and later became a long- time member of Lakewood Church of Houston, Texas.
She met the love of her life, Vernon Thompson, and they were married in 1976. They shared 50 years together until her passing. After marrying Vernon, she moved to Houston and to this union, two sons were born. Her formal education included Blinn College. She worked in the banking and surveying industry for many years before retiring.In her free time, she enjoyed her time with family, crocheting and had a great love for soap operas.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Edd and Mineola Walker; mom and dad, Johnny and Eartha Seyfus. She leaves husband, Vernon Thompson of Houston; children: Jeremy Thompson of Houston, Patrick Thompson (Jesse) of Rosenberg; sister: Delores Walton of Austin; brother: Kenneth (Ethel) of Ft. Worth; two grandchildren Kyla & Liora as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
