George Arthur Renchie beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather, was born on July 26, 1936, in College Station, Texas to Monroe Renchie and Minniebell Renchie. George lived a life filled with so much love and devotion to his family. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country for several years before being honorably discharged.
George was a dedicated employee of B.I.S.D., where he faithfully served for several years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Renchie with whom he shared two sons, Bobby and Michal Renchie. In his second marriage to Marina Renchie, he not only gained a wife but an additional family to love. While they did not have biological children together, he proudly embraced her children, Martha, Lucy, Rosa, Salvador, and Alex as his own and was a loving, supportive bonus dad throughout their lives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Bell Renchie; his father, Monroe Renchie; his son, Bobby Renchie and a nephew whom he viewed as his son, Donnie Renchie; and his brothers, Willie D. Renchie and Monroe Renchie Junior. George leaves behind to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Marina Renchie; his three sons, Micheal, Salvador, and Alex; three daughters, Martha, Lucy, and Rosa. He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren of whom he was extremely proud: Crystal, Gina, Melanie, Brandy, Hector, Albert, Stephanie, Krystal, Arthur,
Priscilla, lan, Matthew, Breanna, Johnathan, Joshua, Alexis, Natalia, Viviana, and Isabella; a host of great- grandchildren; and his two loving sisters, Marie and Pearline; nieces, nephews and cousins too. George will be greatly missed, and he was a true blessing to all those whose lives he touched. His quick wit, and grin along with his famous line, “That’ll work!”, will replay in our memories forever.
