Robert Charles Sweeps, Sr. is the son of William Charles Sweeps and Ethel Mae Sweeps, born on December 3, 1967 in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas.
Robert accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a young age and was baptized at Greater Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Robert attended Bryan Independent Public Schools and
graduated from Bryan High School. Robert enjoyed dancing, listening to music, playing Pit-
A-Pat, building things and his family.
Robert was preceded in death by his father; William Charles Sweeps and a brother Frank Sweeps.
Robert transitioned on Monday, May 25, 2026, from this earthly home to be with his Heavenly Father. Robert leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Ethel Mae Sweeps; his siblings, Faye Sweeps, Andrew Sweeps, Ruby Sweeps and William Sweeps; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
