Reta Diane Foley Mcgee

Reta Diana Foley McGee was born on January 23, 1953 to the union of Evelyn and Edward Foley. Reta attended BISD and graduated from SFA in 1972. She then attended school at Tyler Junior College and graduated in 1974.
She became a nurse assistant/caregiver at Sherwood Nursing Home and later went to work for Bill Ford, Gary Stevens, Lawrence Marshall Cadillac and The Sterling Group. She retired from General Motors as the Supervisor of the entire Warranty Department.
Reta later returned to her first love, being a caregiver. She took care of countless people.Reta loved the Lord. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, but later joined New Bethlehem Baptist Church where she played the Organ and Piano.
Reta Married Billie James McGee on February 17, 1973. To this union two sons were born, Timothy Edward McGee and James Bradley McGee and a step son, Dexter Hedge McGee.
Reta received two beautiful blessing, her granddaughters Tyjha Etervia McGee and Jordan Brianna McGee, whom she loved and adored with all her heart.
Reta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, loving aunt and a compassionate friend.
She never met a stranger. She was a famous baker of pies and cake. Everyone placed orders and she fulfilled each order with love.
She leaves to cherish her love and memories her husband, Billie James McGee; two sons, Timothy Edward McGee (Cloresa) and James Bradley McGee (Melanie) both of Bryan, Texas;
two granddaughters, Tyjha McGee and Jordan McGee; one brother, Curtis Foley of Tucson, Arizona and a host of other relatives and friends.
Reta shared a special bond with Shanequa Smith, Cazanda Hargers-Swift, Demetria Bircher, Ann Merchant, Sandra Hanks, Linda Blue, Sonya Burton, Kit Wright, Dr. Suzanne Black and Lester Banks.

Visitation will be held Friday January 4, 2019 from 11am to 6pm at Daniel and Son Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Central Baptist Church 1991 FM 158 , College Station, Tx 77845. Interment to follow at Wixon Valley Cemetery.
