Ivory June Barrow
Ivory June Barrow, III was born in New Orleans, LA on July 21, 1963 to Ivory June Barrow, II and Willie Mae Drew Barrow. Ivory accept Christ and was baptized at an early age at New Home Ministries, under the leadership of Pastor C. Blake, in New Orleans Louisiana. Ivory loved the Lord, and he would praise him all by himself. He preached to his brothers, how important it was to be SAVED and anyone else that would listen to him. It was important to him that he was saved and lived a holy life. He donate to many spiritual charitable organizations. Ivory attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in New Orleans. He loved sports, and he ran track while he was a student in High School. Ivory was a master Chef, and loved and enjoyed cooking. He worked at many restaurants while living in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ivory will be remembered for his quiet demeanor. He would do almost anything if he could help someone. He was very giving. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mildred Drew; Paternal grandmother, Sarah Coleman; one Aunt, Audrey Gaines; one Uncle; Charles Drew; four Great Aunts, Bernice, Orita Reed, Bessie and Ethel Lamber. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Willie Mae Barrow; his father, Ivory June Barrow II; two brothers and one sister-in-law; Willie Barrow (Christine), and Robert Barrow; two nieces, Willena Barrow, Willieya Barrow; one nephew, Willie Barrow, Jr.; two great Aunts, Brenda Lomax and Jo Anne Barrow; friends, Nurses and doctors of Fortress Health and Rehab Center; Betty Robinson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
