In Loving Memory of Mrs. Annie Beatrice Neblett Jenkins
Obituary
Annie B. Neblett Jenkins was born to Fred Jefferson and Katherine Neblett on October 17, 1935. She
accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of West Union Missionary Baptist Church and remained
a member, under the leadership of Rev. Anthony Lang until she transitioned from this life.
Annie was a very passionate and giving person. She enjoyed family and being in church, singing and
praising God.
On February 2, 2023 God opened a window and Annie saw a glimpse of beauty, and like the wind she was
gone. She’s preceded in death by her father, Fred Jefferson; mother, Katherine Jenkins; sister, Cesther
Williams; three daughters, Bessie K. Sanders, Mary Sparks Duren and Lois Ann Buchanan; one
grandson, Byron Johnson, Sr.; one great-great-nephew, LaTravean Thomas; one brother, Fred Lee Jefferson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Melvin C. Paul; one daughter, Linda G. Johnson; four
grandchildren, Chris Buchanan, Willie L. Johnson, Jr., Daniel Johnson (Marie) and Carlos Moranza; four
great-grand-children, Diamond Johnson, Byron Johnson, Jr., Jessica Barron and McKenzie Johnson; four great-great-
grandchildren, Avianna Moranza, Atliyah Moranza and Ty’Riana Johnson, Adelaine Sanchez; three special nieces, Annie
Harris, Cynthia Smith and Sandra Thomas; special nephew, John L. Williams; two special cousins, Naomi
Johnson and Velma Spivy; four half sisters, Elizbeth Terrell, Georia A. Johnson, Thelma J. Johnso, and
Doothy Wright; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation services will be held on Friday February 10, 2023 from 2:30P.M. until 6:30P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street Bryan, Texas 77803
