HOMEGOING CELEBRATION FOR SIS. FLORENCINE DARNELL HENDERSON

SUNRISE: JULY 6, 1954 SUNSET:APRIL 2, 2022

Florencine Darnell Henderson, age 67; entered into eternal
rest on April 2, 2022. She was born July 6, 1954, in Franklin,
Texas, to Lue Miller Faye (Austin) Foster and Cleveland Darnell,
Jr. She was later raised by her Stepfather James Richard Foster.
Florencine attended high school at Kemp High School in Bryan,
Texas and later in life became a Private Caregiver. She had a
gentle and kind heart and loved spending her days and evenings in
her front yard surrounded by family and friends.
Florencine accepted Christ in her life many years ago and was a
member at Eagle’s Nest Praise and Worship Ministries in Bryan,
Texas, under the leadership of Gary and Sheila Jones until her
health began to fail her.
Florencine was preceded in death by her mother, Lue M. Foster,
father, Cleveland Darnell, Jr., stepfather, James R. Foster,
brother, Lawrence Darnell, and son, Steven R. Henderson, Sr.
Florencine leaves to cherish precious memories: two daughters,
Argatha Henderson and Shanieka Henderson; a son, Donald
Henderson, grandchildren, Rita, Riva, Hannah, Brittney,
Yalanda, Ja’Tavian, Devin, Jo’lon, Kezvin, Shania, DeUnshay,

Jessiah, Steven Jr., and Pimptereus; a host of great-grand-
children; three sisters, Essie Foster, Michelle Newton and Janet

Foster; two brothers and one brother-in-law, Larry Foster, Sr.,
Richard Foster and Timothy Newton; and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.
