Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Eugennee Thompson-Williams
Obituary
Eugennee Thompson-Williams was born November 8, 1951 in Las Vegas,
Nevada. She was raised by her parents, Reverend Daniel Luther Miles and
Corinthia Mae Miles. Later in life she became acquainted with her biological
father Granville “Bear” Dawson and her other siblings and relatives from that
half of her family.
She graduated from Topeka High School, attended Washburn University and
graduated from Blinn College as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Eugennee had a warm and outgoing personality, very outspoken and never feared
to speak her mind. If she thought you should hear whatever she wanted to say,
you were GOING to hear it.
She always had a passion to help others and enjoyed lifting others up through
music, artistic plays, writing short stories and children books, while serving her
community with 20 plus years of healthcare service as a nurse.
Eugennee departed this life on Monday, July 17, 2023. She was preceded in
death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Samuel Roy Dawson, and Larry Charles
Dawson.
Eugennee is survived by 2 children, Tamara Thompson and Jason Thompson,
Sr., 6 grandchildren, China Smith-Goins, Jason Thompson, Jr., Katlynn Davis,
Aaron Thompson-Ealoms, Adam Ealoms, Amari Ealoms; 5 great-grandchildren
and 21 brothers and sisters, Veronica Anderson, Granville Dawson III, Barbara

To the angels guarding the gates of Heaven, we plead. “Open the gates and open
them wide. So Eugennee can come inside!” Looking from Heaven, Eugennee is
saying with her broad smile, instantly recognizable voice, in her signature way of
saying, “Later Gator.
