Home Going Celebration for Cynthia Diane Auston

A Life Well Lived

On January 28, 1965 Cynthia Diane Auston was born in Bryan, Texas to John L. Auston
and Helen M. Garner.
Diane was a woman who loved her family and left a
legacy of love. Diane was a member of Eagles Nest Praise
and Worship Baptist Church where she was a long-time
member under the leadership of Gary and Sheila Jones.
Diane was also a member of the praise and worship team.
Diane gave 30 years of her life to Texas A&M as
a food service supervisor. Diane was a loving
and devoted mother and grandmother to her
kids and grandkids, to whom she was crazy
about. Diane always said that you can’t
serve two masters. That was the way she
was, she stood by her word and meant it.
Diane departed this life on
Saturday the 29th of July 2023. She was
preceded in death by her father, John L.
Auston; one sister, Vikki Tillman; her
grandparents, Tilmon & Janie Auston;
and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Diane leaves to cherish her memories
and live out her legacy: her loving
son, Tarrence L. Alexander; her loving
daughters, Carlisha L. Wyatt, and Carlette
M. Wyatt; her granddaughters, Angel, Alanah, and
Kei’lynn; two grandsons, Tarrence, Jr., and Rylee; her
Mother, Helen M. Ward (Ralph) of Houston, Texas; Her
mama Mamie Auston; three sisters, Sharron Cain (Mike)
of Houston Texas, Jennifer Auston Robinson (Shon),
Yolanda Allen, of Bryan, Texas; one brother, Darron Ward
(Shamara) of Houston Texas; and a host of loving aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her loving
goddaughter, Tai Auston.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 2:30P.M at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street, Bryan,TX 77803

Visitation Services will be held on Friday August 4, 2023 from 11:00A.M. until 7:00P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street, Bryan, TX 77803
