Obituary

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Curtis Ray Dickey, Jr. on June 21, 2023. Our loving and devoted son, father, brother, family member,

and friend will be dearly missed. Curtis was born August 7. 1978, in Brazos

County, the son of Curtis Ray Dickey, Sr., and Jeniva Janette Conley.

Curtis accepted Christ into his life at an early age and continued to grow in

his relationship with Christ until his passing. He received his formal education from Bryan High School, Class of 1996, where he excelled in football and track and field.

He would go on to rise in the ranks of the transportation industry. A field of occupation he thoroughly enjoyed through leadership and extensive travel His hobbies included breeding loving and protective dogs that he shared with many of his family members, community members, and friends. Cooking with

love and with his secret recipes was one of his hobbies we all had the chance to

enjoy.

Curtis Ray Dickey, Jr., is survived by his mother, Jeniva Conley, Bryan, Texas; father, Curtis Dickey, Sr., Mansfield, Texas; children, Devarus Golden, Christopher Taylor, Dasja Dickey, Josh Norris, A’yana Dickey, Curtis Ray Dickey III, Daveon Dickey, and Rayvin Dickey; sister, Courtney Dickey, Houston,

Texas: aunts, Cynthia Rogers, Houston, 1X; Erma Conley-Holmes, Houston, TX; Diane Ray, Humble, TX; uncles, Crockett Dickey, Fort Worth, TX; David Dickey, Omaha, NE; James Lee Conley, Milligan, TX; Booker T. Conley, Jr., Austin, TX; Crockett Dickey. He is further survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Curtis was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Delois Conley, and Thelma Lee Dickey; grandfathers, Booker T. Conley, and Quincy Dickey; aunt, Mary Lois McDuffy, and uncles, Larry Dickey, Sr., Gary Dickey, St., and Floyd Leon Dickey.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 1, 2023 2:30P.M. The Lincoln Center 1000 Eleanor Street, College Station, TX 77840

Visitation Services will be held on Friday June 30, 2023 11:00A.M. until 7:00P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street, Bryan,TX 77803
