A Life Well-Lived

On March 12, 1957, Shirley Janette Daviss, was born in Navasota, Texas, to
Robert Williams Sr. and Martha Williams

Shirley Janette Daviss was a woman who loved her family and left
a legacy of love when she departed this life at sixty-six years old on Wednesday,
the 12th day of July, 2023, at Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Robert Williams, Sr. and Martha Lee Williams;
six brothers, Marvin Williams, Robert Williams, Jr., Eddie Williams, Tyree
Williams, Joseph Williams, Carl Williams; two sisters, Rose Franklin, Mattie
Holcomb; one daughter, Kendra Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories and live out her legacy: her loving
husband, Richard Daviss; three sisters, Martha Williams, Sandra Ware and
Vera Hawthrone; three brothers, James Williams, Benny Williams and Oscar
Williams; one son, Archie Williams; two daughters, Kinya Weathersby (Aundrea
Weathersby) and Kasandra Liles (Karl Liles); six grandchildren, Haleigh Williams
(Johnnie Gooden), Kyrah Weathersby, Gabrielle Liles, Archie Williams, Jr.,
Reighvn Williams and Kayla Weathersby; three great-grandchildren; Serenity
Castaneda, Jasiah Castaneda and Jaylie Gooden and many nieces, nephews,
other relatives. and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 12:00 Noon at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W. 18th Street Bryan, Texas 77803
