Obituary
Riley Elizabeth Mitchell was born November 4th, 2011 in Houston, Texas to Felicia Mitchell and Mshindae Pruitt. She brought joy and happiness to all of us. As we all know Riley could not do many things like walk, talk, see or hear, which are things we take for granted every day. We saw all the things she could do such as smiling, laughing, kicking her feet, and crossing her legs in the same manner as her mom. She showed her love without saying a word, she would reach out and pull you in. After her mother’s passing, Riley’s aunt, Shelia Mitchell, stepped up to the plate and became Riley ’ s dedicated caregiver and guardian. with the help from her mother Elizabeth Mitchell and her daughter Keisha Mitchell. Riley now rests in the arms of her mom. She leaves to cherish her, her grandmothers, aunts and cousins. Riley was a blessing from above for all that came and dedicated care for her daily needs (the nurses and therapists from Daisy Kids Care and Little Angels; and the teachers, therapists and administrators at Black Elementary. We saw and felt their love and commitment to Riley, and we thank you.
