Obituary

Deacon John L. Auston was born January 19, 1943 in Franklin, Texas to Tilman and Janie Auston. John attended Franklin High School in Franklin, Texas. After high school John located to Bryan, Texas, where he started employment at Coca-Cola, and stayed employed for 19 years. Following after that John moved on to Texas A&M dinning services, where he was employed for 19 years until he retired.John devoted his life to Christ under the leadership of Reverend Westbrook. He later united with Eagle’s Nest Ministries,under the leadership of Reverend Gary Jones. John was a Superintendent, Treasurer and Deacon.John had a love for fishing, BBQ, dominoes, and spending time with family, where he constantly schooled his nephews on life.He is preceded in death by his parents, Tilman and Janie Auston; sister,Lue Miller Foster, Daisy Lee Perry, Martha Caldwell, Maxine Lockett; brother, Leo Auston, David Auston and Earnest Auston. John leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Diane Auston, Jennifer Robinson (Frederick), Yolanda Allenall of Bryan, Texas; grandchildren, Tarrence Alexander, Carlisha Wyatt, Carlette Wyatt; Frajai Grays, Amari Robinson, Frederick Robinson, Jr.all of Bryan, Texas;sisters, Marjorie Erskine, Edna Auston both of Bryan, Texas; brother, Ricky Auston of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Angel Alexander, Alanah Alexander, Tarrence Alexander, Jr., Khel’Lyn Alexander, Aurielle Grays all of Bryan, Texas; and a host of nieces,nephews other relatives and friends.
