Obituary
Algery “Sonny” Frazier was born on September 18, 1951, to Aaron
G. Frazier and Caroline Brewer of Calvert, Texas. He was the 4th
of 5 children. He was united with Christ as a child and joined
Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Calvert, TX under the
Reverend James Buchanan.
He attended public school in Calvert, TX until he received a
scholarship to play football for the University of Notre Dame in He then had a child in 1987, Danisha Hamilton.
Sonny met and married his wife, Robbie Marie Frazier on September
18, 1995. They were united with College Hills Baptist Church
under Pastor Marlon Outing. They were married 23 years.
Sonny enjoyed all sports, especially football. He was an avid winner
playing bingo, and loved watching westerns.
On May 24, Sonny was called to be with the Lord in the comfort of
his own home in College Station, surrounded by loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Frazier and Caroline
Brewer; his wife Robbie Frazier; two brothers, Aaron and Alphonso
Frazier; and one sister, Faye Anderson.
Sonny leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Danisha
Hamilton and one son-in-law, Sherman Hamilton of College Station,
TX; one brother, Joe Brewer of Florida; two nieces, Ella Jones and
Rose Mary Dora both of Houston; one nephew, Warren Frazier
(Linda) of Houston; two brothers–in-law, Robert (Odessa) and Terry
Smith; one sister-in-law, Beverley Ridle (Michael); and a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors.

Acknowledgement
The Family appreciates every act of kindness shown during this
time of bereavement. We thank you for each and every Prayer,
for every phone call, every kind word, every hug and pat on the
back, letting us know you are thinking of us in our time of sorrow.
A special thank you to Lucille Young and Traditions Hospice. May God’s mercy forever shine on all of you.

    To my daughter and son-n-law Sherman Hamilton. You both did a wonderful job taking care of your father,and always know that God will continue to watch over you and give you strength.Sonny was a very blessed man to have ya’ll by his side. He’s in a good place now up there with the father. Know that I’ll always be here for you if you need me babygirl. I love ya’ll so much and God bless the both of you.
