Obituary
Lettie Evon Davis Shivers was born on December 4, 1945 to Jerome Davis and Alberta Davis.She attended Mumford Public School and then went on to Blackshear School in Hearne , Texas. Lettie was a loving, caring, generous and hard-working woman. She did not mind helping anyone who was in need. Preceding Lettie in death is her parents, Jerome and Alberta Davis, her three brothers, Charles R. Davis, Willie J. Davis and Robert C. Davis; her three sisters, Velma McMurry, JoeAnn Dottie Davis and Ella D. Davis Gamble.Her love and legacy to her family will be passed on to her husband, Melvin Hunter; her daughters, Sarah Shivers, Vicky Shivers and Lettie Tennell (Kelvin Tennell); her sons, Willie Shivers, Jr. and Darrell Davis (Olga Davis); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She will be greatly missed by family and friends,and will beloved in our hearts forever and always.
