Frankie Lee Gaines a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, family member, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 06, 2026.Frankie was born on March 20, 1951, in Calvert, Texas, to Tony Spencer Gaines Sr. and Freddie Lee Hampton Gaines. She was educated in the Calvert Public Schools. Frankie was a woman of faith and was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Frankie enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, playing spades and dominos, gardening and attending church.
Frankie will be remembered for her loving heart, her strength, and the care she showed to those around her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and creating memories with the people she loved. Her presence brought love and warmth to those fortunate enough to know her, and she will be deeply missed.Frankie was preceded in death by her parents Freddie lee Gaines and Tony Spencer Gaines; her sons, Tommy Gaines and Anthony Gaines; one daughter, Frances Gaines;
maternal grandparents, Fred and Cora Hampton; one brother, Billy Ray Gaines; and
one sister-in-law, Debra Gaines.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her three daughters, Debra Gaines, Lynette Gaines, and Gabrielle Gaines; one brother, Larry Gaines; three sisters, Barbarann Huey (Carl Huey), Joyce Gaines, and Sheila Gaines; her six grandchildren, Alexis Conerway, Eric J. Hawkins, Robert Conerway, D’Eric J. Hawkins, Anthony Gaines, and Fatima Blue; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
