Reverend Roosevelt Shannon, Pastor

Gary Darnell Randle was born on October 10, 1967, to John C. Randle,
Jr. and Hazel Jean Ayers Randle, in Austin, Texas.

Gary accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior October 19, 1980 at
Pilgrim Rest Primitive Baptist Church and was baptized by the late
Elder J.M. Miles. Gary was a member of the Youth Department and
sang in the Youth Choir. The song he loved to sing was “Ninety-Nine
and A Half Won’t Do.”

Gary graduated from W.R. Robbins High School in 1986 and decided
to enlist in the U.S. Army. After exceeding the standards of conduct and
performance he was honorably discharged.

Gary tried to emulate his father. If something was breaking or broken,
he would say “oh let me fix it”, and usually there was just one other
piece he needed to get it done, but he would try. He loved helping others
even when he needed help himself.

In January of 2026 his father, John C. Randle Jr. preceded him in death.

Gary leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Hazel Jean Ayers
Randle; two daughters, G’Andrea (Christopher) Divinity of Manor,
Texas, and G’Aasia Randle of Salt Lake City, Utah; one stepson,
Jordan Johnson (Sky) of Salt Lake City, Utah; one sister, Angela
(Bryon) Miller of Jarrell, Texas; and a host of relatives and friends.
