Celebrating The Life of Dessie B.Glover

Obituary

Dessie B. Glover was born
September 27, 1939 to Zeak Glover,
Sr. and Lue Willie Smith in Wheelock,
Texas.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord
and Savior at an early age.
Dessie was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy
football fan and enjoyed cooking,
cleaning, dancing and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ethel
Glover, Doris Young, Beatrice Glover and Bessie Jones,
grandson, Charles Caldwell, great-grandson, Skylar
Green, special nephew, Jimmy Jones.
She departed this life at the age of 84 on January 28,
2024.
Dessie leaves cherished memories to her daughters,
Jeanette Glover and Bobbie Glover; sons, Patrick
Glover, Sr., James Glover, Sr., and Charles Glover, Sr.
(Tequila “Tiki” Ballew Glover); brother Zeak Glover,
Jr.; grandchildren, Ashley Glover, Shana Green, Alissa
Harris, Garry Harris II, Deja Howard, James Glover, Jr.,
Patrick Glover, Jr., Charles, Jr., Zaquarius Glover,

Tajanae Glover, Christian Glover; 24 great-
grandchildren; her Pet T’challa Green, and a host of other relatives and friends.
