A King’s Legacy

Steven Wayne Stukes was born on January 22, 1968, to the late Prunella Stukes in Bryan, Texas. He attended Bryan
Public Schools, graduating from Bryan High School in 1986.
He accepted Christ at an early age when he was baptized
at Galilee Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend
RW Wheaton. He was employed at Kent Moore Cabinets
for 24 years, where Steve was known for his cheerful spirit
and giving heart.
Steven departed this life on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
His mother, Prunella Stukes, preceded him in death, along
with maternal grandparents, Felix Petty, Sr. and Melissa
Petty. To cherish his memory, he leaves his daughters,
Dominique Alexander (Alan) of Killeen, Texas, and C’Asia
Stewart of Hearne, Texas; and his son, Roderick Daniels of
College Station, Texas; grandchildren, Allana Alexander
and Michael Bradford, Jr. (MJ) whom he shared a loving
bond (they love them some paw paw); three bonus daughters,
Clarencia Smith, Virshanta Smith, and JaVora Stewart; one
sister, Diana Neblett and husband Ray, of Cypress, Texas;
two nephews, Raylon Neblett of Willis, Texas, and Aaron
Neblett of Cypress; and two great-nephews, Peyton and
Price Neblett, of Cypress; a good friend, Shanda Stewart,
which he had a special friendship bond with her; and a host
of cousins, others relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023 at United Full Gospel Baptist church  at 11:00 A.M. located at 1600 West Martin Luther King Jr, Street, Bryan, Texas 77803

Visitation Services will be held on Friday March 24th from 11:00A.M. to 7:00P.M. at Daniel and Son Funeral Home located at 401 West 18th Street, Bryan,Texas 77803
