Michael Anthony “Mickey” Tank-Head Johnson

Mickey ” Michael” Tank- Head Anthony Johnson passed away on August 23, 2020.
Michael was born September 28, 1967 in Burleson County, TX to Marion Johnson Sr. and Mary Ann Flowers-Johnson. Michael attended Snook ISD. Michael was one who loved to cook, Barbeque, Dance, Sing, and clown around. Always loved having fun, and was a happy spirited person. Most of all he loved the Lord, and his Family more than anything in this world. He was a big man with a gentle heart and soul. He would give anyone the shirt off his back without any thought behind it. Always willing to help anyone no matter what it was, and put others before him. Baptized at an early age, he truly loved the Lord. He was a member of Macedonia A.M.E Church, and ordained under the leadership of Pastor Eddie Johnson.
Michael was preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents Thelma Flowers and Khooder Flowers; Paternal Grandparents Cecil “Seyfus” Johnson and Louvella Johnson; Sister Ester Marie Johnson; Brother Danny Earl Johnson; Parents Marion”Bud” Gene Johnson and Mary Ann “Noone” Flowers-Johnson.
He leaves to morn his loving wife Tinikia Butler-Johnson; Sons Michael Johnson Jr., Desmond Shepard, Xavion and Xavier Nickerson, and Anthony McClenton Jr.; Daughters Ashton Mitchell and A’Brea Carr (Fra’Keedra), Loved as a daughter Andrea (“Papa” to Jeh’lani and Kendal); stepmother, Julia Johnson; sisters, Thelma Johnson, Ophelia Johnson (Richard), Mary Williams (Darrel), Lisa Hoskins (Steve), Tammy Johnson (Clarence), Dale Parnell (MacArthur), Stacy Johnson, and Debra Jean Ray; Brothers, James Johnson (Ashley), Marion Johnson Jr (Lakesha), Cecil Ray Johnson (Elva), and Robert Johnson (Margaret); A host of Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Family.
Visitation will be held Friday August 28, 2020 from. 1pm to 6pm, at Daniel and Son Funeral Home, 401 W. 18th St., Bryan, TX 77803.
Graveside services will be held Saturday August 29, 2020 @ 2:00 pm at, Smetana Cemetery West Hwy 21 Bryan, TX.
Love you Uncle Michael no matter what was going on every time I saw you, you had a smile on your face.
Love you Mikie,you always made time to stop and check on me.you were a caring person. I will miss you. Loved you, but God loved you more.
My Deepest Sympathy I send to the Family from Lynda Lauderdale & Family. He now rest in the Arms Of God! He is blessed !!
