Stephanay La’ Gay Manley

On the 7th day of November, in the year of 1967 Stephanay La’ Gay Manley was born to Richard B. Manley and Glenda P. McGill Manley in Bryan, Tx.

Stephanay grew up and attended Bryan Public schools. She was a memeber of the ROTC program.

As a teenager, Stephanay worked at McDonald’s. Later in life she moved to Austin, Tx where she work at Buckners Villas as a CNA, working specially with Alzheimer patients. She also worked at Gracey Farms Nursing home for serveral years.

Stephanay accepted Christ at an early age. As a youth, she attended Lee Chapel Methodist Church. As an adult she resided in Austin, Tx where she was a memeber of Red Sea 2 Good News Church, where she was the prayer line coordinator; while she was working to become a licensed minister.

She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Prince and Ida Mae McGill and Arlander and Corine Manley; father, Richard B. Manley; a brother, Rickey Charles Manley and a sister, Sophia Manley.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Glenda P. Manley; two daughters, Courtney S. Manley, and Courneshia R. Johnson; two sons, Elijah M. Whitfield and Isaiah T. Manley; siblings Glenda McGill Pratt ( Donald Ray), Robyn McGill Nutall ( Cliff), Deondraye McGill- Jarmon, D’Angelia McGill, Mona Lisa Chambers, Stephaneye Manley-DuBose, Randy Manley, La’Richer Manley Parks( William), Alice Denise Manley, Zena C. Manley-Tarvar, Sydney Manley (Gwen) host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
