Mary Betty Smith of Wheelock, Texas passed on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center, located in Bryan, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.Saturday, February 01, 2014 at the New Elam Missionary Baptist Church in Hearne, Texas. Visitation will be held at Daniel & Son Funeral home chapel on Friday, January 31, 2013 from 12 noon – 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be held immediately after services at the Wheelock Cemetery, located in Wheelock Texas
Mary was born to the parentage of the late Elder Perry Smith and Luverta Green – Smith in Robertson County. She was brought up and nurtured by loving, caring, Christian parents.
She was saved at an early age, and she was a member of the PERRY MEMORIAL, COGIC , until the time of her passing away.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
She leaves to celebrate her legacy one brother & sister-in-law; David Smith, Sr. (Leonila) of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters; Gladys Smith of Wheelock, Texas; Rachel Spivey of Bryan, Texas and; Lucy Swain of Hearne,Texas;a host of wonderful nieces,nephews,devoted friends, and the Perry Memorial COGIC
