Rosie Fields Goyens
God’s Gift: June 4, 1952
Rosie Fields Goyens was born on June 4, 1952 to the union of the late Edgar and Una Fields, Sr. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Rosie graduated from Bryan High School in 1972. She moved to Austin, Texas where she attended the Texas School for the Blind and visually impaired. When she finished school she retured to her home town of Bryan , Texas. Rosie married Donny Goyens in 1978 and to this union one daughter Nicole Goyens ( Stephen) and one son, Johnathan Goyens were born.
Our beloved sister, mother, grandmother and aunt passed away on May 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Joanne Sanders ( Curtis) and Beverly Blue ( Leroy) ; three brothers, Billy Fields, Edgar Lee Fields Jr ( Anie) and Ray Fields.
Left to cherish her memories are her Daughter, Nicole Goyens Barrow ( Stephen) ; son Johnathan Goyens; one grandson, Mosiahs; four granddaughters, Audrina Heavenly ( Johnathan), Aliyol, Merie and Egypt; one sister Carolyn Fields Williams ( the late Reuben Lee Williams Sr); three brothers, Stanley Fields ( Linda), David Fields ( Wilma) and Lonnie Earl Fields; fifteen nieces, twelve nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 11am in the Chapel of Daniel and Son Funeral Home 401 W. 18th St. Bryan, Texas 77803.
