Robert Ray Nixon

Robert Ray Nixon was born on February 9, 1948 in Bryan, Texas to Leroy Nixon Sr. and Maggie Sterling Nixon. He accepted
Christ at an early age and later joined Peaceful Rest Baptist Church. He attended E. A. Kemp High School and graduated in 1966.He also attended Prairie View A&M University.

He had various jobs, such as Babcock & Wilcox and Sacramento Produce, but his most recent and enjoyable one was with Brazos Transit where he thoroughly enjoyed meeting and working with
new people.

Robert had a host of family and friends with whom he enjoyed barbecuing, watching football and playing poker.

Robert went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2019. Preceding him in death were his mother, Maggie and Dad, Leroy Sr; two brothers, Leroy Nixon Jr. and Arthur Lott; one sister Verna Carroll and a daughter, Kelvisha Nixon.

He leaves to cherish his memory three sons and one daughter-in-law, Brandon Stringfellow, Kelvin Felder (LaTonya) both of Bryan, Texas and Vincent Thompson of Austin Texas; three daughters
and two sons-in-law, Brandi Nixon, Regina Williams-Young
(Calvin) both of Bryan, Texas, Felicia Nixon Brown (Richard) of Atlanta, Georgia and thirteen grandchildren; two sisters,
Ruby Lois Nixon of Bryan, Texas and Joyce Atchison of California; a special aunt, Willie Mae Sterling. and a host of
nieces and nephews, other relatives.

Robert will be remembered for his infectious smile.

Visitation will be held Friday September 27,2019 from 11am to 7pm at Daniel and Son Funeral Home 401 w. 18th st. Bryan, Tx 77803

Funeral services will be Saturday September 28,2019 at 11am at Peaceful Rest M.B.C. of Bryan, Tx.
