Robert Lee Kelley Sr.
Robert Lee Kelly Sr. was born on July 7, 1949 to Knox Kelley Sr. and Ella Hasting in Houston, Texas. He attended Houston Public Schools and spent his childhood there. He later moved to Bryan, Texas where he met his long life partner, Evelyn Miller.
Robert accepted Jesus Chirst as his lord and Savior and was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church. He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed tending to his farm animals and watching his western movies.He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Knox and Ella; stepmother, Opal Kelley; sister, Esther Harris; and brother, Gregory Kelley.
He leaves to cherish his memories five Children, Ella Kelley ( Van), Lolitha Foster, Shirley Manning, Robert Kelley Jr., Robert Kelley III; two step sons, Willie Foster and Broderick Foster. He also leave behind five sisters, Cynthia Kelley, Caroline Green, Sharon Densey, Jacqueline Crawford, LaKeitha Green; three brothers, Knox Kelley Jr., Dervin Kelley and Derrick Gordan; nine grandkids, Daterris, Vanterica, Van Jr., Malaisa, Khaliah, Ke’ Asia, Shannon, Za’ Nyia, Broderick and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday July 24, 2020 in the chapel of Daniel and Son Funeral Home 401 West 18th st., Bryan, Tx 77803.
Graveside services will be held Satutday July 25, 2020 at 11am at New Bethlehem. Cemetery in Wixon Valley, Texas 77808.
