Mrs. Doris Mae Young

Doris Mae Young was born on January 31,
1933 in Benchley, Texas to Lue Willie Glover and Zeak Glover Sr.

Doris attended John M. Moore School. She
was a homemaker, loving aunt, friend and
sister. She accepted Christ at an early age.
She enjoyed cooking, dancing, working and mostly spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Lue Willie Glover and Zeak Glover Sr.; husband,Andrew Young; two sisters, Ethel Foster and Bessie Catherine Jones; one stepdaughter, Katie Mae Young; two nieces, Ella Ree Jones Taylor and Dorothy Johnson; two nephews, Billy Foster and J. D “Peter”
Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories two
sisters, Beatrice Glover of Houston, Texas
and Dessie Glover of Bryan, Texas; one
brother, Zeak Glover Jr. of Bryan, Texas; a
special nephew, Jimmy Lee Jones of Bryan,
Texas; her special families, Peggy and Willis S. Ritchey; two Godsons, John and Tom Ritchey; Mrs. Judy Childs and the Gomez family along with a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held Friday June 7, 2019 from 10am to 6pm at Daniel and Son Funeral home.

Services will be held Saturday June 8, 2019 at 2:30 pm at United Full Gospel Baptist Church.
