Melba Ruth Sandle Marrero

Memorial services  for Melba Ruth Sandle Marrero, 57 of Bryan are set for 11am Saturday, June 27 at Allen Chapel A.M.E. church. The Reverend Kennen Jackson will officiate.

Mrs. Marrero died Thursday, June 18,2015 at Kindred Hospital in Cypress-Fairbanks, Texas.  She was born and raised in Bryan, Texas, where she attended the Bryan Public schools.  Melba was a lifelong member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. church and a dedicated employer of BISD.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Betty Wright Caldwell and father, James Ruben Sandle.  Survivors include her husband of 33 years,Kenneth Marrero ;four daughters and one son-in-law; Crystal Sandal of Plano,Candis Sandle and Elizabeth Marrero, both of Bryan; Leslie Marrero Anderson(Michael) of Longview; and five grandchildren; two sisters; Sherry Sandle Evans (Curtis Sr.) of Kenney, TX and Sylvia Caldwell (Gregory) McAdams of Sachse;one Aunt; Rosa Smiley of Nashville,TN;Four Uncles; Jesse Sandle of Gambrills,MD;Johnnie Sandle of San Diego,CA,Leroy Sandle and Douglas Wright,both of Dallas;and a host of other relatives and friends.
