JULIE NANETTE JACKSON-WEEKS-PIERR
Sunrise: 09/05/1965
Julie (Judy) as we all called her was born September 5, 1965, to the late Edna and Samuel Jackson, who preceded her in death.
Julie confessed her life to Christ at an early age. She graduated from East Technical High School and later attended Blinn College. Judy was a smart and brilliant person, who could handle almost everything, if you wanted to know something that was of a legal stature just ask Ju-Baby. She loved to read until her eyesight began to fail. She loved her nieces and nephews to pieces. Julie also had that one special friend since childhood Norma Hereford.
Julie’s favorite song was SUMMERTIME by Will Smith, and every time this song is played, everyone who knew her, would say there’s Judy’s song. (Just listen to it, and when you do think of her).
Julie met and married her first love Timothy Weeks and with that union two children were born, Timothy and Tyrell Weeks. As a young woman Julie left Cleveland Ohio, and moved to San Antonio Texas, to be with her father and other siblings. Judy moved to Bryan Texas in 1998. Later Julie met and married Tony Pierre; no children were born to this union.
Judy worked for Alltran Financial and took care of her family until her eyesight got worse making it difficult to continue working. She was a member of Skybreak Church College Station Texas. There Julie made many friends, everyone loved her servants heart. Julie served as an usher for many years at Skybreak.
In 2019 Julie came back to Cleveland Ohio to live but decided that Texas was her home and she wanted to go back, so she returned in March of this year. The Ohio family enjoyed her for that year. She will truly be missed and will always be our Ju-Baby now and forever more!
The family would like to thank Ms. Nanny Curtis for always being that special friend for our sister, she talked about you all the time.
Her two brothers, Teddy & Dwayne, preceded Julie in death; she leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Kathleen McIntyre, Najuma Smith-Cunningham, four brothers Kenneth (Katherine), Mark, Samuel (Erma), Kevin (Cherone). A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and a, great niece.
