Jamesia LaNae Idlebird

Ms. Jamesia LaNae Idlebird was born in Brazos County on August 29, 1981 to Carilyn and Lonnie Idlebird. She was the oldest of two children’s.

Jamesia was a member of Peaceful Rest Baptist Church of Bryan, Texas and graduated from Bryan High School.

Jamesia was preceded in death by her sister, Nyketta; her grandmother, Dora Shirley; grandfather Japan Shirley Sr.; great-grandmother, Velma Monroe, all of
whom lived in Bryan, Texas.

She departed this life on Friday, August 9, 2019. She will always be remembered by her strong voice, her will to be liked and her love for everyone. She was
clever, bright and intelligent. When anyone was in need of answers, she would not give up until she found the
solution. She will truly be missed.

Jamesia leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Carilyn Idlebird of Bryan, Texas; her father and stepmother, Lonnie Idlebird and Marilyn of Ft. Worth,
Texas; one daughter, LaNya JaNae Auston, one son, Lathan Japan Auston; two sisters, Qwanashita “Knecy” (Bennie) Sims of Caldwell, Texas and Sparkle
Thompson of Bryan, Texas; two nephews, David Smith Jr. and ArtKane Sims, both of Caldwell, Texas; two very close aunts, Marilyn Jackson and Bennie M. Jackson,
both of Bryan, Texas; a very close friend, B. J. Langston of Bryan, Texas; a God Sister, LaWanda Tindle of Hearne, Texas along with a host of cousins, Williams,
Youngs and Shirleys, aunts, uncles and many step relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday August 16, 2019 from 10am to 6pm at Daniel and Son Funeral Home, 401 west 18th Bryan, Tx 77803.

Funeral services will be held Saturday August 17, 2019 at 11am at Peaceful Rest Baptist church 1409 Congo St Bryan, Tx 77803.
