Obituary

Sierra Nicole McMillian was born to Teresa Campbell and Russell McMillian on
July 31, 1996. She was called home to be with the Lord on the morning of June 30,

  1. Sierra accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.
    Sierra was a graduate of Mary Catherine Harris School, receiving her high school
    diploma May 2015, and was currently enrolled in Distance Education courses at
    the Ultimate Medical Academy, Tampa Florida where she was pursuing a degree
    in Medical Billing and Coding. Being the determined young lady, she was known
    to be Sierra was making plans and was excitedly anticipating the attendance at
    her upcoming graduation ceremony in September 2024.
    Unfortunately, in 2018 Sierra was diagnosed with Lupus, a painful disease that
    attacks a person’s immune system and many parts of the body. Despite this
    diagnosis Sierra was determined to fight as she nurtured her beautiful daughter
    Ky’Airah Breighelle McMillian, who was the love of her life. In addition to caring
    for her daughter she cared for her mother Teresa and Aunt B.
    During her spare time Sierra was known to be an avid reader, reading books of
    all kind. She fought a good fight, she was victorious and finished her course. Now
    a unique crown awaits her – she was a good and faithful servant.
    She is preceded in death by her grandfathers: Tommy Ray Preston Sr., Eugene
    Henley, and Henderson Johnson; aunt: Yvonnedala Raye Preston; great
    grandparents: Shelby Preston, Sr. and Angerlee Preston; great-grand mothers:
    Helen McGee and Willie Jewel Merchant; uncle: Tracey McMillian; great aunts:
    Mary McCain and Hattie McGee; and Ky’Airah grandmother: Meka Freeman.
    With precious memories to always cherish, she leaves her only daughter
    Ky’Airah Breighelle McMillian; parents: Teresa Campbell and Russell McMillian;
    grandmothers, Evelyn Johnson and Norma McMillian; two sisters: Bre’Anna
    Marquelle McMillian and Meagen Lorenz Coleman; brother: Jacorey McMillian;
    aunts: Senette Preston, Roy and Hattie Reed and Annie B. Lister; uncles: Tommy
    Preston, Jr., Ronnie Arrington, and Marvin Kearney; special cousins: Terrance
    Preston and Casmir Flot; Godparents: Alfred and Marla Richardson and George
    Wilbert and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, July 13, 2024 11:00A.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 West 18th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803

Visitation Services: Friday, July 12, 2024 from 11:00A.M. until 7:00P.M at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 West 18th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803
