In Loving Memory of Robert Mason

Obituary

Robert “Rob” Earl Mason was born on June 6, 1964, to Johnnie Mae Bailey in Brazos County, Texas. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Mae Bailey; one brother, James E. Bailey; and his grandparents.

Robert entered God’s eternal embrace on June 11, 2021, in Houston, Texas. Robert accepted Christ at an early age and united with The Church of the Living God in Benchley, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Ellen Allen.

Robert had a kind and loving heart. He was outgoing, charismatic, upbeat, and effortlessly put smiles on the faces of everyone he met with a single joke. His smile was enough to light up an entire room.

He is survived by four daughters, Chreal Thomas of Cypress, TX, Brooklyn Thomas of College Station, TX, Rochelle Thomas of Humble, TX, and Tierra Thomas of Bryan, TX; one son, Rodney Thomas of Cypress, TX; twelve grandchildren; three brothers, Johnny Bailey of Houston, TX, Oscar Mason of Bryan, TX, Billy Mason of Killen, TX; two sisters, Lula Mason of Bryan, TX, and Cassandra Bailey of Bryan, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that loved him dearly. 

Visitation will be held at Daniel & Son Funeral Home Chapel from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Saturday June 19, 2021 at 11:00 am.
