In Loving Memory of Mr. Seferino Aleman
Obituary
Seferino Aleman, age 58, passed away at home in College Station, Texas, on May 23, 2024. Seferino was born on August 22, 1965 in Georgetown, Texas to Lydia (Rodriguez) (mother) and Joe Aleman (father). He has five brothers and six sisters: Albert (deceased), Alvin, Joey, Gabino, Diane (deceased), Rosie (deceased), Alice (deceased), Laura, Linda, Yolanda (deceased) and Domingo (deceased). He is the father of four children (Vanessa, Sabrina, Seferino Jr., Joseph), eight grandchildren (Johnathan, Michael, Brandi, Megan, Malachi, Memphis, Maiza, Alayna), and two great-grandchildren (Legend, Isaiah).
As a young man Seferino worked at Luby’s Cafeteria and Round * Rock Sporting Goods. He spent the majority of his life working for Classic Oldsmobile in Round Rock and Caliber Collision in College Station. As a teenager he began dating Jeanette Escalante in 1984.
They lived in the same neighborhood, and he was always bringing her flowers or taking her to Tex-Andwiches. This became a lifelong tradition, with sandwiches from Schlotzsky’s replacing Tex-Andwiches after the business closed. Jeanette and Seferino were married on March 1, 1995. Seferino was a kind, hardworking man.
He loved to work on bikes, lawn mowers, and other equipment.
He enjoyed walking in the park every day, and enjoyed wearing stylish clothes without regard for whether others thought the colors matched. He was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on December 21, 2019. He will be greatly missed.
