Christine Washington Mitchell was born March 11th, 1954 in College Station TX to Rufus and Eula Washington she was the sixth of eleven children.

She worked as a custodian for College Station ISD for 43 years until her retirement in 2017. She loved her job. some of her favorite past times  we’re shopping and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents , two sisters, and four brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter latrina Mitchell Newsome of Cedar Hill, Texas one grandson Garrick Newsome of Cedar Hill, Texas; four sisters Lola (Willie)Loud of Houston,Betty Washington of Dallas,Lee Eatter(Daniel) Mack of Bryan  ; and Lela (Clarence) Smith of College Station: and a host of nieces,nephews, cousins and friends.
