Maurice Dwayne York, age 49, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Houston, Texas. He was born December 27, 1971 to Equilla Woods and raised by Johnnie Lee York and Samuel J. Walker who loved him unconditionally. Maurice was rooted in Bryan, Texas and attended Bryan High School. Maurice began his journey that led him on a path to meet many people. Anyone that knows Maurice know him as a “Smooth Talker”. Maurice always smiled no matter what was going on in his life and lived life to the fullest. Family was important to Maurice, he was blessed with a son, Tyler Kubichek whom he loved dearly. Maurice is proceeded in death by one sister, and he leaves behind four brothers, one God brother, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. His memory will always be cherished.
