Helen Margaret Green,98 of Bryan, Texas peacefully passed on May 23,2022 at Lampstand Nursing & Rehab Center. Helen was born in Houston Texas to Offa Williams and Nora Perry. Helen attended E. A. Kemp High School. After High School Helen began her career working in the domestic field as a Housekeeper and later her career continue but working for the United States Postal Services where she served and later retired as a Postal Clerk.
Helen also lived in Oakland, California and later she returned back to Texas and lived the rest of her days her in Bryan, Texas. Helen was married two other times to the late Timothy Dix and the late Joe Hedge. Helen soon after met Mr. Walter Green where they were married in holy matrimony in Las Vagas,NV.
Helen was a proud member of the Fairview Baptist Church where she attended until she could no longer attend. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, Walter Green, Joe Hedge and Timothy Dix; and four siblings.
Helen leaves to cherish her memory; one son and daughter-in-law Curtis Charles Dix,Sr.,.& Winnifred of Somerville Texas; two grandchildren; Curtis Charles Dix,Jr & Wife Myrmonde of Flordia and Rita Scott of Houston, Texas; Four siblings;Ruby Williams, Woodrow Williams, Doris Williams, and James Williams; she also had two bonus granddaughters; Kimberly Dix Reed & husband James of Corinth,Texas and Duuna Renee Dix of Houston, Texas; and a host of great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 28,2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Daniel & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27,2022 from 4:00p.m. to 6:00 p.m and on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the beginning of the service.
