Obituary
Moses Lee Harris was born in Kurten,
Texas, to Matt Harris and Ada Payton on
December 30, 1935.
He was reared in the presence of the
Lord; he was baptized as a young child.
Moses received his education through the
Kurten Independent School District.
Moses was a loving, caring, generous and hard-working man. He
worked with the City of Bryan, Wilson Lumber, Burnett
Concrete, Safeway, and Coca-Cola. He enjoyed driving trucks.
On Saturday, April 29, 2023, Moses was called home. Preceding
him in death, his wife of 62 years of marriage, Earnestine Harris;
his parents, Matt & Ada Harris; one sister, Annie Dale; and one
brother, Otis Harris.
His love and legacy to his family will be passed on to his three
daughters, Linda Faye Lister and husband, Barry, Ruby Faye
Carroll and Julia Harris; one son, William Charles Harris;
fourteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; five great-
great-grandchildren; one brother, James Green; two sisters,
Beatrice Bradsher and husband, Kevin, Darlene Green; his best
friends, Gary and Debbie Bantu; and a host of nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 6, 2023 2:30P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street Bryan, Texas 77803
Visitation Services will be held on Friday May 5, 2023 11:00 A.M. until 7:00P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street Bryan, Texas 77803
