HOME GOING CELEBRATION FOR HAROLD TURNER LUCAS

Memorial services in honor of Harold(Fellow) Turner Lucas will be March 5th, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 804 N Logan Avenue in Bryan, Texas.
On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, Harold(Fellow) Turner Lucas took his last breath on this earth and his first breath in Heaven with our beloved Heavenly Father at 74 years old.
Harold was born July 28, 1947, in Bryan,Texas to the late David Lucas and Katie Mae Turner McDade.
Harold united with Galilee Missionary Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Reverend R.W. Wheaton. He later rededicated his life to christ under the pastorage of Reverend Dr, Anthony L. Ross, Sr. where he attended as often as possible until his health failed.
Harold received his education from Kemp High School as a member of the Class of 1966. He was a certified welder and loved making barbecue pits , swing sets and anything that required welding. Harold loved all sports, especially the Houston Astros, playing dominoes, and watching classic western shows and movies. And sitting around talking with family, he did not talk much himself, but he liked to be around people to see them laughing, talking and happy. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, David Lucas and Katie Mae Turner McDade and stepfather, Augusta McDade; wife, Charlye Mae Davis Lucas; daughters, Brenda Davis Marks and Kelli Lane Lucas, and brother Sergeant(Retired) Charles Irving Allen.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Janell Lucas, son, Chancellor Lucas, both of Bryan, Texas; three sisters Dorothy Scott, Houston,Texas; Dr. Lillian Hoskins, Dallas, Texas, and Sheila Robinson(Howard), Bryan,Texas; Six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; aunt, Vivian Evans, Dallas,Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
