Obituary
Doris Nell Denson was born November 11, 1941 in Burleson County to L.D. Thomas and Daisy Mae Atkinson.
She came to know Christ at a young age at Dabney Hill Baptist Church in Snook, TX.
Doris graduated from High School, Snook School District, Snook TX. She moved to California at an early age, where she worked in the restaurant and customer service business.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; grandmother, Nellie Horn, her husbands, Bernell Butler and Harvey Denson; special aunt, Learie Atkinson; uncles, James (Sonny) Atkinson and Claude Atkinson; nephew, Sedric Floyd; and sister in law, Maxine Thomas.
Doris leaves to mourn: her brother, Johnnie Thomas of Caldwell, TX; sister, Patricia Wilson (Melvin) of Bryan, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, grand- nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2:30P.M. Old Bethlehem Baptist Church Reverend Freddy Foster, Sr. True Vine Baptist Church, Bryan, TX Officiating 5306 FM 2039 Caldwell, TX 77836
Visitation Services will be held on Friday January 27, 2023 from 11:00A.M. until 6:30P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street Bryan, Texas 77803
