Harris, James Harold

Mr. James Harold Harris, 72 of Bryan, Texas passed on  Thursday, May 29,2014 at Brazos Valley Hospice Facility. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 07,2014 at 11:00a.m at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Anderson,officating .

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 06,2014 at Daniel & Son Funeral Home from 10:00am – 7:00p.m and also 1 hour prior to service time at the church.  Interment will follow immediately at Oakwood Cemetery located in Bryan, Texas

Mr. James Harold Harris was born on April 06,1942 in Houston, Texas to the late Leroy Harris,Sr and Eunice Jordan Harris. James accepted Christ at an early age at West Union Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor E.L. Johnson.

Preceded him in death his parents, three brothers, and four sisters.

  He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife, Mary Alice Rhodes Harris, two sons Darrel Johnson(Marcia) and Justin Rhodes; three daughters; Karimah Rhodes(John),Linda Brisbee Jackson (Conlee ) and Kimberly Mooring; six sisters; 4 brothers; 11 grandchildren;3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews along with his best friend, Curtis Kenard.

Services are entrusted to Daniel and Son Funeral home, located in Bryan, Texas.
