Dexter O’Keith Lockett (Dino), 51, was born on August 23, 1973 to Maxine Auston and Lewis Rice, Jr., in Bryan, Texas.

At an early age, Dexter gave his life to Christ and joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church. In his later years, he joined the Eagle’s Nest Praise & Worship Ministries, where he remained until his demise.

Dexter enjoyed being with family, listening to music and just having fun.

Dexter was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Auston; his stepdad, Eugene Conner; one sister, Leslie Bradford; two brothers, Lewis Rice, III and Lester Lockett; his grandparents, Tillman & Jannie Auston, Lewis Rice, Sr. & Corine Rice; one niece, Angel Horace; three great-nephews, Ja’Kavian Harris, Darius Brooks, Jr. and Da’Kyrien Horace; as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dexter leaves to cherish his memory: his two sons, Terry Guyton, Jr. and Kolton Griswold; one daughter, Kelsie Griswold; two granddaughters, Terri Guyton and J’Auri Guyton; two grandsons, Karter Smith and Kasey Smith; his parents, Lewis Rice, Jr. and Alicia Rice of Houston, Texas; eight sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Davis (Bernard Davis), Jacklan Baugh (Derek Baugh), Sheniqua Joubert (Leroy Joubert, Sr.), Theresa Lawson (Author Lawson), Waymona Carroll (Benny Carroll), Shutonnia (Bo Leggz) Lockett, Tahisha Lockett and Linda Higgins; his special brother, Reginald Green; a stepson, Scott Smith; his special friends, the RIDERS, Ya’ll know who ya’ll are, he loves ya’ll. Keep riding and picture him still riding with ya’ll; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
