Charles James Turner ” Sonny”

 Charles James Turner was born February 25, 1947 in Abilene, Tx to the late Robert Turner and Aletha Dunn. He moved to Mumford, Tx at an early age. He was a farmer, but he also repaired and re-sold cars. He enjoyed traveling and seeing different parts of the world, but most of all, he enjoyed being with and around family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Annette Walker of Hearne, Tx, Aletha Turner of Lawton, Oklahoma and Brittany Kennard of Houston, Tx; two sons, Anthony Turner of Austin, Tx and Kevin Woodard of Hearne, Tx; two sisters, May T. Foster of Hearne, Tx and Annette Turner of Bryan, Tx; four brothers , Johnny Lee.                    ( Florence) Turner of Lubbock, Tx, Robert Turner of Calvert, Tx, Robbie ( Nollene) Turner of Bryan, Tx and Bobbie (Dora) Turner of Lubbock, Tx; five grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren and a host of other relative and friends along with a special- friend, Rick Wheeler.
