Obituary

Joshua DeLijah Adkins was born April 27,
1975 in Bryan, Texas to Elijah Mitchell, Sr.,
and Lovie Diane Adkins Green.
He gave his life to Christ at an early age. He
obtained a GED at Windham School
District.

Joshua loved his family. He also loved sports and helping
people. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah
Mitchell, Sr., and Lovie Diane Adkins Green, and brother, Elijah
Mitchell, Jr.

Survivors include, sons, JaCory Adkins (Kianna), JaQauevoin
Adkins, Jordarian Adkins, and Joshua Adkins, Jr.; daughters,
Jordan Adkins, Malasha Adkins; and special daughter, Joshua
Auston; aunts, Gwen Diggles and Mary Taylor; uncles, Danny
Adkins, Melvin Adkins, Billy Pace and Chris Pace; grandparents, Billie Lois Pace and Ophelia and Lonnie Mitchell;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerome Adkins (Keisha), Aunrea
Morrison (Chakira), Daryl Foley (Regina) and Derrick O’Neil
(Crystal); sisters and brothers-in-law, Shonda Whetstone
(Artis), Tiffany Morrison (Sedrick), Camille Dymon Mitchell
(Marco), Tia Haywood; grandchildren, Allize’a Adkins and
Aurora Green; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 2:30P.M. at St. James Missionary Baptist Church
4806 E. State Hwy 21
Bryan, Texas 77808

Visitation Services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 2:00P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W. 18th Street, Bryan,Texas 77803
